Aza Clear is the result of genuine dermatologic scientific research and recent advances in cosmetic chemistry.

Aza Clear is a unique combination of naturally derived ingredients, designed to address the visible effects of problem or aging skin.  Azelaic acid has long been known for its beneficial cosmetic effects on the skin.  Products that contain azelaic acid as their primary ingredient, however, have been found to be both helpful to skin and potentially irritating.  Other skin treatment creams such as retinoids, retinol and benzoyl peroxide suffer from the same potential for irritation.  The Aza Clear formula contains a high concentration of azelaic acid and does not irritate the skin.¹

Complexing azelaic acid + niacinamide is another first.  We call the patent pending combination SynergyE™.  Synergy occurs when the addition of several ingredients results in an effect greater than expected when adding the individual ingredients together.  SynergyE&trade is a patent pending emollient cosmetic base complexing and micronizing azelaic acid with niacinamide in combination with the moisturizing effects of glycerin.  AzaClear is soothing to the skin and encourages hydration.

Aza Clear is free of fragrance, masking fragrances, colorants, dyes, hydroquinone, or formalin releasing biocides.  No animal testing either!

Green Ingredients

A product's safety, efficacy and stability are a direct result of the ingredients chosen, how the ingredients interact and the quality of the manufacturing process.  From the outset, our mission was for Aza Clear to contain pharmaceutical grade ingredients and to be produced in a FDA licensed facility that meets GMP (good manufacturing practices).  Although the GMP practices are required of pharmaceutical manufacturing they are not required by the FDA for production of cosmetic or cosmeceutical products.

Azelaic Acid

A naturally occurring organic substance.  It is a dicarboxylic acid found in wheat, rye and barley.  Azelaic acid is therefore also a dietary constituent.  Azelaic acid is known for it's powerful cosmetic benefits and has been used as a cosmetic, cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical agent.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide is a water-soluble component of the vitamin B group.  It does not cause skin flushing like niacin.  Niacinamide is a coenzyme in a wide variety of cellular functions.  Vitamins such as niacinamide have been noted to be anti-inflammatory.

Glycerin

Glycerin moisturizers and lubricates the skin, promoting skin softness and smoothness.  It is colorless and odorless and widely used in pharmaceutical products.
